The presentation will give an insight in the cultural art practices in Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Qatar. It includes examples from emerged and immerging artists within these regions and discuss their culturally driven motives for visual expression and their artistic processes.

The presentation also focuses on comparing the differences in education and inspiration between artists from the Gulf and from Europe, while shortly discussing a segment on the hyper economically driven Art Market within the Gulf.
